Virgin Wine do "naked" bottles that don't have a vineyard label, but just a "plain" label describing the specifics of the wine in the bottle. This is a 2008 Viognier which leads with a honeyed nose and follows up with a smooth citrus burst. At 13.5% ABV it's got quite a punch for a white, but goes down very smoothly.
We had it as a late-afternoon drink with croustinis topped with broad bean and pea mash and it went superbly!
This was part of a mixed case of 6 bottles from Virgin, including three of theses, and worked out about £6.50 per bottle. Top stuff! Overall I'd have to go for 8 out of 10.
