This is a classic South African wine made and bottled in a wineyard in Franschhoek Cape Town.

The winemaker is Achim von Arnim. The nose has both citrus and underlying red berry flavours. The Chardonnay provides creaminess and the Pinot Noir intensity. The finish is long and firm. This wine has a style and character to complement rich and full-bodied meat and fish.

This is a crisp unwooded wine and has an alcohol percentage of 12.5%.

The first time I had a taste for this wine was when we went to Red Ivory Game Lodge in Hartebeestpoort dam for a short holiday. I had this wine with some FANTASTIC food that was made a chef at the lodge.

It is a wonderful wine and worth buying for any occasion.
