WineSurvey was developed to assist people in choosing wines available in the UK from sources such as wine clubs, supermarkets, off-licenses and even restaurants.

The idea of the site came about from browsing the wines in my local supermarket. I realised that I had definitely tried at least a dozen bottles but I could not remember which ones were good, which were bad and which suited what occasion. I decided I needed to keep a note of which wines I liked, but then I came about the idea of making a website instead of a private note. From this concept I decided to involve others, parents, friends etc and so WineSurvey.co.uk was born.

Over time we will grow this site to include special offers (with alerts), membership contributions, live comments and feedback. We hope to quickly have a valuable archive of most of the domestic wines available in the UK which people can use as a reference as well as contributing feedback themselves.
